One Wood Street, City of London

Virtual tour of One Wood Street in the City of London, which is the headquarters of the law firm, Eversheds. Wood Street is just off Cheapside, and is where Shakespeare resided between 1603-5 and wrote Othello. In 1797, the street featured in William Wordsworth's The Reverie of Poor Susan:

At the corner of Wood Street, when daylight appears,
Hangs a Thrush that sings loud, it has sung for three years
Poor Susan has passed by the spot, and has heard
In the silence of morning the song of the Bird.
