Store Street (The Imagination Building)
This fullscreen virtual tour was captured in Store Street and shows the Christmas 2006 lights (each year Imagination create spectacular lighting displays on the front of their building). The Imagination Building uses the curved front of what was once a Victorian school. Behind the facade, buildings and a whole street were demolished to create a dramatic space, incorporating a central atrium with a tented fabric roof. The structure won the UK’s Building of the Year Award in 1991 and is closed to the public - though you have a brief window of opportunity to visit during the annual London Open House event (see openhouse.org)!
