The Queen's Walk

Loading map...
Between Lambeth Bridge and Tower Bridge runs The Queen's Walk - a Thames-side promenade which is part of the Thames Path National Trail and the Jubilee Walkway. The Queen's Walk is home to City Hall (where the Mayor of London, the London Assembly and the GLA operate from), designed by Sir Norman Foster as part of the larger 'More London' development of office and retail space.

It's a fantastic place for a stroll and to take in some of London's sights. There is even an amphitheatre called 'The Scoop' which hosts performances of music, film and theatre. In these Queen's Walk virtual tours, you can see many famous London landmarks including The Gherkin, Tower 42, The Tower of London, and, if you look closely, you can just see Canary Wharf behind Tower Bridge.
