The Cottons Centre is part of London Bridge City, a development on the South Bank of the River Thames comprising modern office spaces. The Cottons Centre's design maximises the riverside location - allowing in light and giving the people inside fantastic views across the river to the north bank.

The Cottons Centre overlooks London Bridge City Pier - the Thames commuter catamaran service giving commuters a pleasant journey to and from work. London Bridge City Pier is the main pier for the City of London, City Hall, Hay's Galleria, HMS Belfast and Borough Market, and in future will also serve the Shard. Commuters can travel between other piers at Embankment, the London Eye, Tower Millennium Pier, Canary Wharf, the O2 and Woolwich Arsenal.
